According to the history books and the writings of Josephus, the Roman General Titus with an estimated 60,000 professional Roman soldiers managed not only to kill an estimated 1,000,000 Jews in 70 A.D. but they also succeeded in destroying and looting the Temple in Jerusalem; and in the process the actions of Rome against Israel also initiated the Diaspora, a world wide Jewish diaspora that would last over 1800+ years !
