If you study any society and country you will soon discover that 'Religion or no religion' all human societies suffer from : Crime, Rape, Theft, Lying and an almost innumerable list of other human ills, this includes an almost homogeneous Buddhist/Shinto society like : Japan replete with very violent organized criminal groups like the Yakuza or the almost godless and atheist society like North Korea where one unholy leader terrorizes millions with his police state apparatus or a liberal democracy like Britain where even though guns are outlawed criminals get very creative in : killing, stealing and hurting their fellow British with : knives, acid attacks and good ole ancient hand to hand violence !!! So when John Lennon was writing 'Imagine no religion' he must have been smoking something not very British* And the USA is no exception, here we have thee largest 'Prison Industrial Complex' on the planet made possible by a very powerful 'Prison Union/ Lobby group' on earth with over 2.1+ million American's locked up at any one time with an average annual national budget of $ 80 billion dollars !!!

Although I grew up listening to all types of music including the Beatles music; somehow I never ever bought into John Lennon's 'Imagine No Religion' song. It was in my teens that I was first exposed to and listened to several of the Beatles 'catchy tunes' that most teenagers could relate to ( love songs*). Then, it was early on in college that I was first exposed to the "Leftist Agenda." I must admit that I was overwhelmed as to how 'NAIVE' and 'BRAINWASHED' I appeared to be during my high school years; according to most of my 'Leftists' college professors, the United States government really was 'The Great Satan' the instigator of several global coups all over : Latin America, Africa and Asia !!! ( Although 'Religion' is the opium of the people according to Karl Marx, the truth is that the opposite of his statement is just as true; in a world with 'NO' laws or rules mankind usually degrades himself lower than even most animals !!! )
As I grew wiser and acquired some heavy 'Critical Thinking Skills' this student of Bible Prophecy realized that although it was/is true that the American CIA. has involved itself through the decades with some of the world's most corrupt and shady politicians and strongmen' from all over this world, the CIA was nonetheless making deals with such unholy men in order to preserve American lives. ( I'm not justifying the CIA decisions and much less the questionable DEA decisions either !!! )
John Lennon in truth was a man detached from reality when he wrote 'Imagine No Religion' Lennon was already filthy rich and famous, Lennon according to the research I've done on him never attended an institution of higher education where he could have studied about the history of warfare through the ages; for if he had he would have learned that 'MOST' of the wars that have ever been fought on planet earth since almost the beginning of time were 'NOT' fought because of religion !!!
I chose to write and focus on this topic because a large percentage of people from all walks of life all over this world want nothing to do with 'Organized Religion' because they have been : Hurt, Abused and Exploited in the past by individuals ( Bishops, Pastors, Popes, Evangelists and even some very mean nuns !!! ) claiming to represent GOD.
Soviet Communism extolled social equality 'BUT' the truth of the matter was that the leaders and members of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union ( CPSU ) had much bigger houses, paychecks and privileges than the average Soviet citizen back in those days. on 'PAPER' and in 'Theory' : Communism, Socialism and many other 'Isms' sound great "BUT" on this 'Fallen World' such things are most definitely 'NOT' going to succeed in a world that is driven by : Greed, Corruption and Numerous Devious things hidden deep inside the heart of fallen man !!!
This student of Bible Prophecy also writes about this topic because Satan and his unholy minions are going to 'Deceive those Left Behind' even more so during the Tribulation period !!! Although it is 'NO' secret to me and you that Satan is behind every 'False Religion' on this planet; ( Islam, Buddhism etc...) he still really desires that most worship him directly without any of the 'False gods' that most people on this planet worship. We know that during the Tribulation period the vast majority of humanity who have taken the 666 Mark will render WORSHIP to Satan's final Beast.
In societies such as : North Korea and Communist China where 'Atheism' is the official stance of the ruling government, we discover that : Theft, Rape, Murder and other hideous human criminal activities are as much a part of daily everyday life as much as in some of the most 'Religious Societies' such as in Italy or in Saudi Arabia very simply because 'ALL' flesh has been corrupted by sin; believing that if we just got rid of all organized religion WAR would stop and all the ills of society would be fixed is just being naive and dangerously unrealitic !!!
The truth is that 'NO' religion can save anyone; it is only through Jesus Christ that we can obtain 'FULL' atonement for all of our sins before GOD the Father. When I was first saved I was able to attend a small Pentecostal Church where some of the teenagers there who had grown in 'Church' really wanted out of the Church, I was amazed because in my early teens when I was 'Living in the Flesh and in the World' life was hard; yes 'SIN' looks delicious and tantalizing 'BUT' when your finished or when Satan is finished with you he keeps you in deep bondage, some of the teenagers whom I grew up in Church very sadly fell for Satan's temporary sinful indulgions, life in Christ is FREEDOM !!!
In conclusion, John Lennon did 'NOT' die at the hands of a 'Religious Nut' Lennon was killed by Mark David Chapman in 1980 and it had nothing to do because of religion, Chapman was a Hawaiian Security Guard that seemingly wanted much more than just John Lennon's autograph in one of his LP album's, all those who 'NAIVELY' want to blame everything on 'Religion' are barking up the 'Wrong Tree' the ills of our society predate any religion, we are : corrupt, devious, liars and so many other things because we inherited the sin of Adam and Eve and the 'Good News' is that GOD chose 'NOT' to exterminate all life on this planet shortly after Adam and Eve disobeyed Him; GOD most certainly had every right to do so 'BUT' HE went out of His way to REDEEM humanity and even though 'MOST' of humanity want nothing if very little with the 'One True GOD' : Manifested to us all in Jesus Christ; GOD is still offering salvation to ANYONE who comes to the feet of His only begotten son : JESUS CHRIST and asks for forgiveness; it most definitely is 'NOT' true that all religions will take you to heaven; our LORD Jesus Christ made it perfectly clear when He stated : "NO man Goes to the Father Except through Me" !!!
What I'm trying to say in this weeks article is that we should all focus and put our sight on JESUS CHRIST alone; HE alone is perfect, if you're putting your eyes on your religious leader be it your Pastor or your favorite Christian Preacher he may fail you one day, "BUT" Jesus Christ will never fail you, had I been a 'Regular and Average Believer' I would have hundreds of reasons and excuses for leaving Christianity, i am the first one to acknowledge that i am as imperfect as anyone else and that the highest sacrifice i can do is not so much about $$$ Money like all 'Prosperity Preachers' would like you to believe 'BUT' OBEDIENCE, in fact it is what GOD prefers rather than all sacrifices ( 1 Samuel 15 : 22 ) Yes, unfortunately there are many Men and Women out there who are misrepresenting GOD and the Gospel through radio and Television and most of them are the one's whom are LORD is referring to when He stated in ( Matthew 7 : 22 ) "Many will say to me on that day, LORD, LORD did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons ?" the truth is that most of what they did was done for 'Personal Gain' $$$ and not for the 'Honor and Glory of GOD' !!!
Mario Romano is 'NOT' here to demonize Islam and Roman Catholicism, the truth is that 'NO' one can go to the Father ( GOD ) without the atonement of our LORD Jesus Christ. The danger in all the 'False Religions' and all the 'False Prophets' is that all of them are trying to lead billions+ of human souls to GOD the Father without the exclusivity of Jesus Christ and Him Crucified and Resurrected !!!
In sum, I choose to believe that I was created by a very LOVING Creator who gave me the ability to choose ( Free Will*) Yes, as a believer I still have many unanswered questions 'BUT' the Holy Bible does give me the answers to my most relevant questions; I do not question the POWERS of GOD, as I study this enormous : planet, galaxy and Universe, I know fully well that GOD has the whole world in His hands !!! I also know that this thing called 'LOVE' was not created by any 'Evolutionary' process 'BUT' it is part of the very Spirit that created and blew into Adam and gave him life in the Garden of Eden; GOD is LOVE and its not that He has love but HE is its very Embodiment !!!
Ahed Tamini, the 17 year old 'Palestinian Activist' who slapped an Israeli soldier and rightfully received an 8 month sentence was recently freed by Israel for her crime. The question that everyone should be asking themselves is what do you think would have happened to an Israeli Jewish young women if she slapped an Islamic Palestinian Terrorist ??? ( Do you seriously believe she too would be also be given an 8 month sentence in a Palestinian Jail somewhere in Gaza or do you think she would have been killed in 8 seconds ? )
People are indeed entitled to condemn their eternal soul to hell ( separation from a loving GOD/ Creator ) 'BUT' this human sinner redeemed by the Blood of Jesus Christ chooses to believe that 'LIFE' here on Earth is just temporary, GOD is preparing us for something even bigger and if we believe Him and obey Him here on this 'Fallen Planet' that is full of one temptation after another; HE will reward us all in due time. Truly, the nations who forget GOD shall be turned into hell !!! ( Isaiah 9 : 6 and Psalm 9 : 17 ) ALL human governments throughout this planets history have failed their citizens; mankind was given thousands of years to prove GOD otherwise : Socialism has failed, Communism has failed and even Democratic Capitalism which seems on the brink of global collapse by developing its very own 'Global Pyramid Scheme' of printing non-backed currency in the hundreds of billions is gazing at a 'bottomless-pitt' !!!
