GOD had raised him from peasantry to being the King of Israel. King Saul marked the transition of Israel as a 'Tribal Society' to one of 'Statehood.' King Saul began his time as King of Israel obeying GOD 'BUT' ended terribly a few years later before GOD Almighty !!! King Saul slowly began to disobey the word of the LORD given through the Prophet Samuel, he let his pride get the better of him ( just like Satan ) he allowed all that power vested in him go to his head and in the end GOD would allow King Saul's very enemy to 'chop off ' his head !!! ( 1 Chronicles 10 : 9 ) The man who would not listen to GOD's Prophet : Samuel, had no problem consulting with witchcraft !!! Our planet has produced many, many brilliant minds throughout the Centuries 'BUT' very unfortunately most of them died in their sins !!! GOD our CREATOR is 'NOT' impressed by how much : Money, Fame and Power any man/woman accumulates on planet Earth; the only true thing that impresses our CREATOR is our Faith and OBEDIENCE to Him and Him alone !!! ( Luke 7 : 9 ) GOD personally calls any human being who prepared for everything in life 'BUT' that neglected his/her spiritual salvation and ETERNAL DESTINY a 'FOOL' !!! ( Luke 12 : 20 )
Many years ago this student of Bible Prophecy heard a great & timeless sermon titled : 'Satan's Trophies' and while he has probably heard thousands of different sermons since then, that 'One Sermon' somehow seems to have stuck in his : brain, in his heart and in his very soul to this very day !!! ( Now that's what you call a sermon !!! ) And to tell you the truth I have forgotten the very name of the Preacher who preached it 'nevertheless' GOD truly used that servant of His to teach His eternal WORD that never is spoken in vain nor returns empty !!! ( Isaiah 55 : 11 )
The Holy Scriptures tell us that Nimrod was a hunter of men's souls. His charisma and persuasive powers caused men to commit or sell their souls to his Satanic inspired vision. Satan hates the souls of men and willingly seeks them to rule the world and be worshiped by men. Every human being who 'willingly or unwillingly' aligns themselves with Satan's agenda will lose their soul in eternal punishment. This planet has given rise to many such leaders that in exchange for 'TEMPORARY' : Riches, Fame and Power chose to sell their very soul to Satan !!! Satan 'so to speak' has the halls of his headquarters full of hunting trophies hanging on all his walls; just like a hunter proudly displays the animals that he has killed on the walls of his home or office to 'show off ' !!! ( Revelation 2 : 13 ) GOD gave and deposited 'GIFTS' to all of His created beings and 'YET' most human beings choose to use their GOD given gifts to lead other men away from GOD just as NIMROD once did !!! Lucifer was given several gifts by GOD when he was created and 'YET' Lucifer chose to use all of his GOD given gifts to lead astray billions+ of GOD's creations both in the heavens and on planet earth !!!
All types of men/ women throughout the centuries have fallen into Satan's trap for whenever ANYONE departs from the TRUTH of GOD found in His Holy Word they give opportunity to DECEPTION to come in !!!
World history is full of King's, Queens and other powerful and influential men and women who were buried in majestic tombs full of : gold, diamonds, and other earthly riches and secular archaeologists are first hand witnesses that 'NOBODY, NOBODY' can take anything of this corrupted world into the next world !!! The Pharoahs of Egypt tried it and so did the Emperors of China and many. many others 'BUT' the old adage that : 'You Can't Take it With You' has yet to be proven false !!!
This unworthy servant of JESUS CHRIST may never get to be 'World Reknown' in any earthly human field nor even have his 'Fifteen Minutes' of fame 'BUT' the Holy Spirit knows that such things do 'NOT' interest this very imperfect vessel !!! The primary goal in the life of this vessel of GOD is 'NOT' the public acclaim of anyone nor the 'Applauses of Men' the number one goal of Mario Romano is to be a 'Useful Vessel' in the hands of my CREATOR : GOD !!! The number one goal of this imperfect vessel is to 'Keep fighting the Good Fight' to ensure that he one day hears the only words that count :' Well Done Good and Faithful Servant.' !!! There have been many : Roman Emperors, Egyptian Pharoahs and several other 'Mortal Men' who proclaimed themselves to be gods on earth; even Alexander the Great proclaimed himself to be a god before the Persians !!! 'BUT' the truth is that none of them proved to outmatch death; 'NOT' one of them RESURRECTED !!!
Our LORD Jesus Christ 'WARNED' us that the life of man does 'NOT' consists of the 'Abundance of Things' that a man possesses ( Materialism*) Yet quite undoubtedly that is what most of the Mass Media tries to brainwash every American and human being with !!! Unfortunately, the number one goal of too many working Americans is to live long enough to enjoy their hard earned PENSIONS $$$ 'BUT' economic collapse is coming and everyone should learn to live without many things !!! Prosperity Preachers would like you to believe that you have a divine right to be living like a millionaire 'BUT' the 'Blunt Biblical Truth' is that is not a Biblical Promise, the truth is that even the 12 Apostles did 'NOT' have too many earthly riches ( Acts 3 : 6 ) 'NOT' even Elijah the Prophet nor John the Baptist were living as wealthy men 'BUT' GOD did divinely provide for their daily needs !!! ( If GOD wanted all His believers to be millionaires He would most definitely have no problem blessing us with millions of dollars 'BUT' that's not how GOD works ! )
In conclusion, you and I know very well that a man is coming who is going to accept a 'Diabolical Deal and Offer' directly from Satan himself; very similar like the very one that Satan offered our LORD Jesus Christ in Matthew 4: 8 -9 and according to the Biblical Prophecies that 'Man of Sin' is going to accept Satan's unholy proposition and according to the Biblical Prophecies he is even going to declare himself god in a future Jewish Temple in Jerusalem and very likely before a world wide live Television coverage from Jerusalem !!! ( Daniel 9 : 27 ) The truth is that you and me and the billions of other human beings who have ever been born on this planet are 'Created Beings' we all have built in limitations and so do the very Angel's themselves as powerful as they all might be !!! Only GOD is WORTHY of being worshiped, we were ALL created by Him and for Him !!! Any human Father/Parent who has several son's or daughters knows that 'ALL' his children are very special to him; likewise GOD our CREATOR already had trillions+ of Angels ( Son's of GOD ) before we were created in this planet 'YET' GOD loves us just as much as His Angel's, to us He demonstrated His love on the Cross of Calvary, to the Angels He has demonstrated His love in other ways that we can't begin to imagine !!! Every living thing and living being in all 3 Heaven's were created for the sheer pleasure of GOD our CREATOR !!!
When all was 'Said and Done' and when death came knocking on the door neither : J.P. Getty, Michael Jackson, Steve Jobs. Adolph Hitler and numerous others were able to take their earthly riches and fame with them !!! The decision to believe in Jesus Christ alone and follow Him must be a personal one !!! We are here on planet earth to prepare for ETERNITY; GOD is 'NOT' so much interested in your short term challenges as much as He is interested in your and my ETERNAL destiny !!! This planet is like a 'Boot Camp' for Eternity and if you and I remain faithful until the very end we are promised much, much more than what this corrupt world has to offer : THE CROWN of LIFE !!! ( Revelation 2 : 10 ) 'ALL' of your and my : tribulations, heartbreaks, problems, illnesses and challenges in this fallen planet are only 'TEMPORARY' they all shall come to pass eventually !!!
Revelation 3:17 and Matthew 6 : 21 'GUARANTEE' that 'Material Wealth' is only temporary, when we seek the Kingdom of GOD with all of our heart, our attention is focused primarily upon the eternal things of GOD and when all our heart is only pursuing 'earthly treasures' our : heart & attention is only on 'earthly matters' to the exclusion of GOD. The truth is that most people on this planet are living a life of futility; only seeking 'earthly treasures' that will 'NOT' matter in light of eternity !!!

( 1 John 4:20 ) We were all created in the 'Image of GOD' and we are expected by our CREATOR to love one another !!! ( It is rather evident that GOD is slowly but surely filling up all 3 Heavens with His : LOVE, TRUTH and LIFE !!! )
