This student of Bible Prophecy wants to get 'straight to the point' on what the upcoming EU Parliamentary Elections do and do 'NOT' have to do with the Biblical Prophecies. First of all Mario Romano does 'NOT' have any monopoly on this prophetic subject/ interpretation; Mario respects 'different' interpretations that are out there being taught by other 'greater' Bible Prophecy teachers. Some may consider this student of Bible Prophecy to be a 'second rated / 3rd tier' teacher of Bible Prophecy and that's ok with me i don't need nor want any unwanted special attention if you know what i mean***
Presently the EU has 5 Presidents, yes you heard right : 5 Presidents !!! ( and those 5 Presidents do 'NOT' include the national Presidencies of several EU countries; some have : Prime Ministers, Chancellors and Presidents running each EU country*) These include the : EU Commission President with a 5 year term presently headed by Jean-Claude Juncker, the President of the EURO Summit headed by : Donald Tusk, then comes the President of the Euro-Group headed by : Jeroen Dijselbloem, next comes the President of the European Central Bank headed by : Mario Draghi and lastly; the President of the EU Parliament headed by Antonio Tajani and it is the 'Personal Opinion' that neither one of these men nor their Presidencies / political seats will produce the endtimes 'Little Horn.' !!!
"Whenever : Russia's : Putin or China's : Xi Jinping wants to dialogue directly with a 'REAL' powerbroker ( realpolitik *) in the EU in most cases they head to Berlin or Paris and not to Brussels to cut to the chase !!! Those world leaders and many others understand 'Real Power.' It was by the stroke of Merkel's pen that German banks stepped in to save the Greek economy years ago and it was by Macron's authority that thousands of French troops are presently stationed in Syria and in over 8+ Northern and Central African countries. Understand this, "NOT" one of the 5 EU Presidents has access / commands a real standing army, a sizeable Navy / Airforce and a nuclear arsenal as does France's : Macron !!!" Additionally, the present EU Commission President Mr. Juncker has 'NEVER' really involved himself with the Middle East Peace Process very simply because he understands the limitations of his Presidency within an EU that still has powerful national leaders like Chancellor Merkel and France's President : Macron.
The present European Union and its Parliament as well as its Commission President will 'NOT' have anywhere near the same powers as the future 10 Kings of Revelation. The truth is that although the EU is trying to centralize power more and more over to Brussels the two largest remaining EU countries : Germany and France still ( its Chancellor and President ) yield much, much more : $$$ Economic power and Military power than the EU's Commission President and the entire EU Parliament. If you ever paid close attention to the EU's Foreign Policy you will notice that both Paris and Berlin still yield more power individually than to that given to the EU's Top Diplomat : Federica Mogherini. NATO aside, France is the EU's largest nuclear power and France continues to be the only fully remaining member of the EU ( Brexit*) that has the capability of quickly assembling and launching an expeditionary military force; something that neither the EU Commission President nor the EU Parliament have and something that 'Presently' only the : UK Prime Minister, the French President and NATO's Supreme Allied Commander can single-handedly authorize !!!
This student of Bible Prophecy is 100% certain that the next EU Commission President will 'NOT' be the 'Little Horn.' The truth is that major challenges still remain ahead of the EU, unfortunately EU leaders will be forced to give up much, much more than 2% of their GNP to future military endeavors. ( Most EU -NATO countries complain about that 2% Fee they have to annually fork over to NATO*) While 'presently' most EU countries are dragging their feet when it comes to military expenditures, the day and hour is quickly coming when the US will 'NO' longer be in any position to subsidize their DEFENSE via the NATO Nuclear umbrella.
The Biblical Prophecies reveal to us that the final stage of the 'Iron and Clay' will never fully and completely cleave to one another ( fully unite*) additionally when the 'Little Horn' is amidst the 10 King's he uproots 3, by this we know that 'Political Instability' will remain a part of life and an ever present reality within the European Union until its end. If you have been following the 2019 EU Parliamentary Elections you have noticed how several major political forces are uniting as political allies to fight other political extremes within the EU ( EU Far-Right Populists : Salvini, Le Pen etc VS. united 'MAINLY' against Macron's : Europhile Centrists *) The far-right populist EU parties 'NO' longer want to dissolve the European Union they want to CONTROL it and REFORM it to their likeness !!!
"Upon 19+ years of diligently studying the Prophecies of Daniel and Revelation in particular, it is 100% certain that the EU will change its name in the future ( Revelation 13:1 ) thus; the 'PRESENT' EU government will 'NOT' be the same as the final one composed of 10 King's. Additionally, we also know with 100% certainty that Brussels will 'NOT' remain as the 'official/unofficial' Headquarters of the EU forever; it will also change ( Daniel 11 : 45 )." This servant of the 'Body of Christ' does 'NOT' want to mislead anyone; therefore we acknowledge that the EU Parliamentary Elections and the election of the next EU Commission President is merely demonstrating how much the EU needs to continue to 'Streamline' its power structure. In the future, according to both the Prophecies of Daniel and Revelation the future European Bloc of 10 will give all of their power to solely ONE MAN very simply because they will have learned through 'trial and error' that all the bureaucracy found in the EU Parliament hindered the EU's effectiveness too much. This student of Bible Prophecy is 'OPEN' to the theory that the 10 King's of Revelation may be the 'European Military Alliance' that may one day replace NATO !!! It is the 'Personal Opinion' of this student of Bible Prophecy that the endtimes and final 'Little Horn' is alive and presently working himself up the ladder of power and influence somewhere within the EU 'BUT' i do 'NOT' have a 100% confirmation of who he could end up being yet !!!
Only one of the EU leaders you see on the above picture has the codes for nuclear missiles, the other EU leaders don't have access to their very own nuclear triad or have the power to authorize troops on foreign soil as one of them : does, can and has !!! Some of us don't seem to fully comprehend what 'Real Power' really is; two more examples of this include the President of Germany, very obviously he does 'NOT' yield anywhere near as much power as Germany's Chancellor : Angela Merkel and even though Queen Elizabeth II of England has a 'big title' we all know she yields virtually 'NO' political power; in other words 'Titles' can be misleading and so it will be whoever becomes the next EU Commission President, he/ she will have what seems to be a very 'big title' but in reality not anywhere as as near as much power as the present Chancellor of Germany : Merkel or the President of France : Macron.
According to a May 12, 2019 Washington Post article Merkel's government has most certainly 'NOT' made German Military readiness one of its top priorities. According to the report on the 'Operational Readiness of the Bundeswehr's Primary Weapons Systems' presented by the Merkel's very own government officials to the lower house of the German parliament on June of 2018 the vast majority of Germany's weapon systems are UNAVAILABLE for training or deployment. The report also stated that none of Germany's 16 submarines were deployable and only 39 of 128 Typhoon jets were operational and perhaps the most embarrassing military fact about the German forces is that they are UNIONIZED; in 2016 for example Germany had to pull out its soldiers out of a NATO exercise because its soldiers had exceeded the number of overtime hours that they could work !!! Very obviously, Germany is a country of extremes, only 70+ years ago they became the most militarized nation in Europe and today they are Europe's $$$ richest nation but one of its least militarized !!! There is no question that Germany's leadership is NAIVE and believes that 'Total War' is a thing of the past, their total reliance on NATO is proof of this and now that it is 'NO' secret that Mrs. Merkel 'DESPISES' President Trump, Germany's Chancellor : Angela Merkel is reconsidering the need to replace NATO somehow, not exactly overnight; but together with France it is capable of creating Europe's largest 'Military Industrial Complex.' This student of Bible Prophecy absolutely does "NOT" expect the final 'Little Horn' to be German nor Austrian this time, though he does FULLY expects Germany to be one of the producers of the 10 King's of Revelation !!!
In the world's second largest democratic elections ( India's is largest*) over 400+ million eligible EU voters in all 28 member states will head to the polls to cast their ballot to vote for MEP's ( Members of the European Parliament *) MEP's are the only one's that are directly elected by EU voters. There are presently 751 MEP's serving in the European Parliament, the EU Parliament is one of the legislative bodies of the EU. The amount of MEP's representation depends on the size of each EU country, for example Germany gets the most : 96 MEP's while Malta, one of the smaller EU countries only gets 6 MEP's.

In conclusion, there's too MANY heads of all types in the EU that hinder it becoming ONE truly FOCUSED union. In too many instances the German and French Foreign Ministers still eclipse and overshadow the EU's own; High Representative : Federica Mogherini. According to the Prophecies of the Book of Daniel the present state of the European Union has 'NOT' reached its final product and that is one led by 10 of its King's. The 'ONLY' way things will accelerate in the revamping of the EU is through a 'MAJOR' Earth shaking event like a 9-11 event on EU soil. It is also only through 'WAR' that this student of Bible Prophecy sees Israel rebuilding a 'Temple' in Jerusalem. The EU will be forced somehow in the future to create that body of 10 King's within what we presently know to be the European Union and this student of Bible Prophecy acknowledges that the Beast of Revelation will be produced by Europe and 'NOT' by the : UN, the Arab League or any Asian Alliance. The European's will get their act together one day and even though they still have many things to work out let us consider the fact and reality that it is they who have through 50+ years built the world's largest COMMON MARKET and "NOT" the Arabs, Africans nor Russia. The Prophecies of the Book of Daniel and Revelation guarantee that at their peak those 10 King's will 'DOMINATE' most of the world !!! The present May23-26, 2019 Parliamentary Elections will not be the EU's first; for some reason the EU Commission Presidency has not produced a 'Super-EU President' but the truth is that it can't at least not yet because they really have no direct Army at their disposal.

The social, political and military environment ( police like state / martial law, global economic correction, etc...) by which the 666 Mark of the Beast will be launched is slowly getting assembled and coming together and although the TECHNOLOGY to implement the 'Mark of the Beast' is now very possible the TRUTH is that we most definitely are 'NOT' there yet and thank GOD !!! Will the European Union fully 'DISINTEGRATE' ??? "NO" Geographically speaking the EU nations have nowhere else to go they all share their borders with one another and they will have to work out their differences, they have too many 'Treaties and other Agreements' already signed between them and economically speaking most EU states can "NOT" afford to become a CLOSED society; they are indeed like the 'Iron and Clay' mentioned in the Book of Daniel, some EU states are very $$$ strong economically, while others are in $$$ Financial trouble and despite all of their differences like language, culture and history they all have one thing in COMMON 'NONE' of them are Islamic. Despite all their shortcomings, the Europeans are not the one's involved in an epic Sunni vs. Shia religious civil war that has affected most Northern African countries and especially Syria and others; despite all its flaws the $ EURO continues to be much more stable than any Arab-Islamic currency hands down. GOD loves European's just as much as HE loves Arabs and Africans 'BUT' most of all of them have rejected the Gospel of Jesus Christ and therefore they will all taste of the Judgements of GOD.
